Wash-O-Matic Super Shower Tower...

I found the perfect shower tower! This was out in the garage, patiently waiting for me. I bought it for fifty cents at a garage sale a couple of months ago. No particular purpose. Impulse buy. Now I am so glad that I did.

Zar was so excited. He hasn't had a good shower in ages. He went right to work. Tessie supervised and it's a good thing that she did. He was about to start sawing willy nilly. That would not have been good....Tessie pointed out that the tube was upside down. I marked the other end.

When you want to mark a round object, simply wrap a piece of paper with a straight edge around it at the height that you want the cut. Straight line every time.

I drew out a Gothic door shape. We righted the tube and Zar went to work on it. He did a pretty good job with his trusty, rusty saw and I finished it off with an Exacto knife.

I had to do it carefully, because I want to use the cut out part for the door.

Tessie kept offering help with her ball peen hammer....No takers for that.

She jumped inside when we got the door out of her way.....And exclaimed, "Fuchsia!!! I always wanted a fuchsia bathroom!"

That's news to me...I think she is just working on a way to grab the shower tower for herself. She figures that Zar won't want a pink shower...

Did I mention that Zar is making noises about enclosing the stairs now. At least the bottom part. He wants to put a toilet in there....All of the modern conveniences....

That's why I am not working on the stairs today. I am going to have to draw up new plans and also, I need to figure out how big to cut the board for the whole thing to sit upon....Bigger and bigger....It's just a good thing that I didn't cut it earlier.

I have to run now.

Zar told Tessie that she couldn't have the tower and she started throwing the ball peen hammer and other assorted tools.

To add insult to injury, Zar showed her some tile samples that he is thinking of using inside....No fuchsia

It's just a good thing that the cut out for the door was handy. It also makes a good shield from flying objects.

The volume is increasing in the family room.....See you tomorrow.

What a wonderful idea to use that tube you bought! I like it when I can use something I have already in stock for some time and didn't know what to do with it!!! And then...when time comes....you know why you kept/bought it LOL
Zar did a great job on the door!!
Friday I found similar tubes in a container....I brought 2 of them home...just in case ;-)

LOL, I did warn you about Zar overhearing you, when you mulled over the enclosed stairs.

Eeks! Ball Peen hammers hurt when thrown! Do you have a suit of armor for Zar? He's going to need it if Tessie continues with her tantrums.

You were very lucky to make the purchase at the garage sale ... The piece fit perfectly into the tower of the shower.
Zar will be happy with a good bath ... : D
