Yesterday I got very little done. I kept running back to the computer to see if Blogger was back where it should be....Nope....Over and over. They did have a message saying that they would put back Thursday's blogs that seemed to be making trouble. So far, they are still missing.
I am not looking forward to it, but I will try to re write it and attach it to the bottom of this one somehow if it doesn't show up.
The calamity scared me into doing something that I should have been doing all along. Walter gifted me with a "My Book". It's a memory thingy for saving a book when you are writing one....I am not, but I wanted it, so that I could save the blog entries if something happens. I spent most of the morning fiddling with that and saving a year and a half worth of blogs. I am going to have to go back through and do it so that only the blog itself and the comments are saved. Right now I have all of the stuff on the sidebar saved over and over. Wasted space. One copy of that would be sufficient.
So. Not a lot of minis got done. I did paint the outside of the Apron annex to match the outside of the townhouse.
Before it was even dry to the touch, Tessie was in there rearranging things. She now has all of the aprons and one nightgown squeezed into the top....Somewhere along the line, she managed to go shopping. The bottom is filled with boxes and bags full of stuff. I may have to nominate her for "Clean House" on the Style channel if she doesn't cut it out. Hmmmmm....I wonder if they do mini houses?
She did manage to get the doors closed with some pushing and shoving.....Then when they popped open again, she pulled out a couple of the boxes and tried standing on them to get up to the top.
She gave up after a few tries and declared that she needs a ladder or some folding stairs to get up there.....
I asked why she stuffed everything in there like that. She replied,"You know that I need room in the townhouse closet for my dress up clothes."
Actually, I didn't even know that she had dress up clothes....Please tell me that this is not a sign of things to come.
Before I quit for the day, I think that it was Minka that wanted to see the pomegranates as they progressed. I went out and took a couple of photos. Here are the next two stages.
The first one is where they have lost their petals. The front part starts shrinking down that the back starts filling up with the seeds....
Next, they start turning green and swelling. As you can see, we are going to have a bumper crop this year. I will probably take some of the smaller ones off, so that the larger ones will have room to grow. That's how you get the ones the size of grapefruit.
Now I am going to go do some more room cleaning.(Don't tell Tessie that I am really eating bonbons and reading Steven Tyler's new biography. It's really good so far.) I will probably be checking to see if the missing text has returned about every half hour.
See you tomorrow, hopefully with all of my entries in place.
Well....So far, no missing post.

Hi Casey. I have been checking your blog every 1/2 hour all morning (okay, not ALL morning), to see if
your Thursday entry would return.
Sorry to hear you have problems.
I hope it is put to rights soon.
I enjoyed my first ever photos of the real pomegranates. How do you eat them?
Phyllisa
Oh yes, I'm hoping that my missing blog post from yesterday moring comes back soon too! Let's keep our fingers crossed for each other, OK?! :-)
Wow! You and Tessie have been so busy! I love the handles on the apron annex. And, it's so lovely to see Mother Nature at work on the fruit tree. Pomegranates are one of my favourite fruit.
Is My Book a program on a disk or can you purchase and upload it? I've been interested in saving the work from my blog too. Thanks.
Wendy, I had to ask Walter what the thing is called. It is "My Book". It's an External Harddrive put out by Western Digital. He got it at Best Buy.
I'm on vacation and only today found a loaner laptop. You were one of the places I've been missing since a few days ago when I left home. Anyway, thank you so much for posting the pomegranate (sp) photos! I had no idea! They are just wonderful! You certainly have been busy!
Minka
