Both Tessie and I were beat after yesterday's yard work and wicker work.
This morning Tessie announced, "Nobody is working today. Nobody!" Then she put me to work. Nothing unusual about that.
The job was a little unusual though. She looked me straight in the eye and said, " I need my knees fixed and a boob job!"
Let me explain. A couple of weeks ago, my friend Debi made the observation that the outfit that Tessie has been wearing makes her look flat chested. Tessie saw the note and was not at all pleased.
Meanwhile, she has been limping around here for about the same length of time....So....What could I say? I knew that she needed the knee operation. While I was working on making her feel better, why not a boob job too?
So we went to work. I won't show you photos. Modesty is Tessie's middle name.
She is very brave and it was done in no time, but after the expansion of her chest, her old clothes didn't fit. That is exactly what she calls it. She claims that there is no more padding in that area. She is just standing straighter and breathing deeply....Very deeply, I would say.
Anyway, she got new clothes from the inside out. She had to have a new apron and grabbed the newest fabric in the stash.
Now that it is done, she is dissatisfied. So. What else is new? She hates the style, the color and the apron, even though she asked for all three.
She is now relaxing in the birdcage gazebo, drinking coke and eating unbaked chocolate chip cookies. She is the only person that I know that forms the cookies before eating them raw. She says, "It's more lady like to eat them that way. And besides, that way I can count how many cookies I ate." Only Tessie counts the raw cookies she eats. Most of us just grab a spoon and start eating.
I have a feeling that, after I get the sewing mess cleaned up, I am going to have to drag it all back out....I hear Tessie complaining that the new duds are very uncomfortable. We all know what that means......
See you tomorrow.

Did Tessie get a nose job too? Sometime between Friday and Saturday she looks different, sweet even. Do I see a smile on her face today? Hmmmmm...
It's good to know I'm not the only one that eats raw cookie dough! LOL- My Mom used to smack us with the wooden spoon if we got caught 'stealing' her dough... Now I can't get enough of it. Terrible!
When I first saw Tessie, I was thinking she had on a new apron... It's looks great on her.... But I honestly never thought I'd see Tessie's name and the word boobs in the same sentence.... Too freakin funny!
No nose job. Same old nose. I think that it depends on the angle that the photo is taken. Sometimes the smile is there and other times it seems to be gone....Insert "Twilight Zone" theme here....
Katie...Not a boob job...Just deep breathing...
Great job and even Tessie looks pleased. You sure these are chocolate chip and no hash cookies???

If only "deep breathing" worked so well for the rest of us! Ah well, I always claim I'm proportionate when someone says the word flat around me. lol I agree on the loving raw cookie dough bit -- and while Tessie may already be complaining about her current dressage, I rather think the apron brings out the uniqueness of her coloration. Yeah, Tessie I've got ginger hair as well -- sometimes you have to be careful in what colors you choose to wear. ;)
You know...Tessie DOES look younger..why she can't look a day over 102! Seriously tho, her face does have a softer look. Perhaps it's because we first notice her um, new adornments? Anyway, clever witch, she knows YOU know she'll need new clothing now to flatter her more curvy self.
*sigh* I wish bodily improvements were as easy in the real world.
WTG, Tessie! Ya look great! And Casey, you're a wonderful witchmom..even if you are a bit younger..how does that work, anyway?
Oh, and HEY, I LOVE that new apron. It flatters Tessie's hair color and complexion!
He, he, he :) :) :). I love Tessie.
I enjoyed the story a lot. Tessie looks great.

How nice - a boob job and a knee job that doesn't take thousands of dollars and time in rehab! Good for Tessie!

Tessie! I love your new apron! Could you maybe zap it real life size and send it on to me then? Glad you had a little rest Casey! My hubby brought Saturday's mail in on sunday and there was my chair! It is beautiful, but I forgot to take pictures so I hope to get a post of your beautiful work up tonight. The chair is absolutely amazing in person- I hope my wicker work looks half this good someday! Thank you sooo much- I am already bugging my hubby with my plans for the goodies you sent to me :)
I love Tessies new apron, looks very 'spring fresh' on her.
And... she looks very happy with her cola and unbaked cookies!
But did you take the shot while she took a real deep breath??... ;)
Hugs Jollie
