Christmas Is Coming Down....

No minis today....It is officially the end of Christmas here. I am taking down decorations and putting things back where they belong.

Tessie is .....helping?

First I took down the Christmas wreath on the front door. As I was dong it, she kept plucking leaves and flower petals from the everyday wreath.

When I questioned her about it, she answered with, "You just happen to have a few of the ingredients for a potion that I have to concoct today."

Dare I ask what potion that is? I did dare and she told me, "I have a very good hangover cure and let me tell you, all of the people from the tree party will be needing it. There isn't a drop of alcohol left in the tree!"

I wondered why they had all left early this morning...That was the answer.

She got busy in her workroom and what she stirred up looked like something left over when I wash very dirty socks. You won't catch me tasting it!

She assured me that it was an instant cure. I saw her scurrying from place to place, dropping tiny bottles of the stuff on doorsteps. I found it a little strange. She put a bottle down, pushed the doorbell at each place and ran swiftly away.....

I did check on things later and it seemed that everyone was acting normal.

Then I looked in the bedroom and lo and behold, the perpetual Mid Century Mod party is once more in full swing! I guess that they don't need a reason to party. They just need a place.....This must be the place.

I did notice a jug of the "cure" propped up in a corner. Evidently the party is just getting started.....Again.

I don't know how they do it. They make me tired, just watching.I think that I need a nap....
