Still Waiting......

Last night Walter finished with the rough edges of Windows 7. After he re-installed the printer, I snared a couple of photos of Tessie's Townhouse from the RGT site. I cut them out and glued them onto the dividers of the notebook.

She has already labeled which room is where on the interior photo.

She couldn't think of anything to do to the exterior one, so she deemed that one boring. I did see her eyeing the colored pencils....It will probably be puce with pink polka dot trim the next time I check.

I put the front opening view on the third divider. She likes that one because it shows the front section open. She labeled the bottom room "kitchen". Then I noticed the start of trouble....She has labeled the back wall of the top room...."eliminate". Here go the big plans....

Speaking of big plans, I was in the workroom doing the eternal cleaning when I heard a lot of banging and shuffling sounds coming from the family room. I went to check. This is what I found.

I didn't know it, but my biggest tapestry needle is another working substitute for a wand.

Tessie has displaced all of my sewing notions from the bottom drawer of the worktable. I asked her what in the world she thought she was doing and she replied...."Just getting ready!"

"Getting ready for what?" I asked.

She replied, "I am going to need this space for things that are going into my new house. I need LOTS of storage."

"And what am I supposed to do with that pile you are sitting on?" I questioned.

"Hey! That's not my problem. Sewing stuff doesn't belong in the dollhouse worktable. It's been taking up the space long enough." Then she repeated...."I need LOTS of storage."

I am now eternally cleaning in the workroom again. I need to dig out a space for all of my sewing notions. Here we go again. Remind me to hide that tapestry needle!

See you tomorrow.

I'm thinking you might want to hide anything that looks even slightly like a wand- just to be safe :) Better yet- maybe you might want to start learning some spells yourself!

Speaking of computers, I have just experienced a computer nightmare at work. The quilt shop owner is away for a quilt show where she is vending. A good customer calls and asks me to look up a 'poke' bonnet pattern on the internet. While doing so, I clicked on a site which promptly installed malware on the computer disguised as an antivirus program. I've spent all day yesterday and most of today trying to purge it and clean it up! Finally found Malwarebytes freeware which removed it. Whew. I'm beat.

Love Tessie picking out her rooms!

Hi Casey,

Love the town house you are building. I posted a story about my doll house using the characters to tell a story about a blog party I was joining. Please come visit and let me know how I did. I value your opinion. I consider you the best in this area.

I definitely love your notebook, and I see that Tessie finds it very interesting too. Good luck to deal with Tessie.
