A Major Medical Emergency!!!

Yesterday afternoon Tessie went into the emergency room for work on both feet. She managed to break the little toe on her right foot completely off and cracked three middle toes on her left foot. I couldn't get the story out of her as to how it happened.

She came limping in and very bravely said"Doctor Casey....Can you fix them?". Since I am an excellent Super Sculpey surgeon, I immediately started working on her.

If you are squeamish, please skip the next paragraph!

We had to amputate both legs from the knee down, leaving only bones to graft new lower legs and feet on. Every once in a while she would murmur..."It doesn't hurt....It doesn't hurt." She refused anesthesia. She is a very strong witch! Had it been me, I would have been yelling at the top of my lungs!

I won't go into the rest of the gory details. It took about an hour to fix the damage and a severe heat treatment was necessary.

Five minutes after I was finished she rushed out on the new feet to show Spike her new tootsies, as she called them. She was feeling not even a tiny bit of pain. Spike approved.

Next she came into the computer room, dancing up a storm. Zar must have heard about the whole operation thing. He came in toting a "Get Well Gift!".

Tessie did not appreciate it. He had a pair of really ugly neon green flip flops in his hands. She drew down on him with the Clockwork water gun that she made and said "Drop the shoes, Buster! Give them to the dogs to play with. I am not wearing shoes! You know that I don't approve of shoes!" And then, " Come one step closer with those things and you will get a face full of foot fungus!"

I think that it was just water tinted yucky yellow, but Zar wasn't taking any chances. He threw one of the shoes all the way across the desk. Then he offered the other one to Beau.

Tessie took advantage of the situation. She sidled up to him and turned her back. She looked at me, grinned and said"Thanks for the three extra mini inches, Casey. Let's see him get the better of me now!"

Yes. As I was working on her, she pleaded with me to make her a little taller. How could I not do it? She was being so brave and all.....

I am not sure, but I think that I may have made a tiny mistake. She really doesn't need more confidence than she already has. Oh well. Too late to change it now.

See you tomorrow and so will "Tall Tessie"!

I love Tessie's "tootsies!" I had to scroll back through your posts to try to see what they looked like before. They looked good then too!
Then I realized that you must have MADE Tessie yourself! You did, didn't you!? You made your own little witch! I am SO very impressed!

Yes Kathi, I am guilty of creating my own little monster! LOL (Insert mad scientist laughter here...)I do most of the dolls that you see on the blog. If one isn't mine, I give credit where credit is due.

I had no idea that you were the actual creator of Tessie! You're amazing! I love her hands- she's able to get into so much trouble (I mean do so much) with those little hands!

So sorry to hear about Tessie's mishap, but glad to know she's such a little trooper. No anestesia...bravo! And how nice that you were able to give her a few extra mini-inches too!

I can't believe Tessie lost her foot and you amputated both. Did you have a heart attack, Casey? You made her taller? I swear you made her feet daintier too. They were huge (haha) before. May have to see the true size after she prop her feet up again.

Sans, her feet are the same size. She is just taller. LOL That makes them look daintier. She is very happy with the new ones. The better to kick things with!

Poor Tessie! What an ordeal--but so glad you could fix her up and a fine job you did as well! And that Zar, full of good intentions.
