If At First You Don't Succeed.......

.....Try the whole idea from another angle.....I finished the secret bookcase on the inside of the workroom this morning. It now opens and closes on the hinges. It just isn't finished on the bathroom side. As soon as it was hinged, Zar pulled Beau inside and slammed the door.

Unfortunately Tessie heard the sound. She is back to being able to get into the house.

The next thing I knew, she had rolled the bedside table, cogs putting nicks in the tile, into the bathroom. She figured out that there is a seam at the top of the door panel. she knows it's there. She just couldn't get in.

She poked, prodded and picked at it, to no avail. With Zar on the other side, pushing for all he was worth, she didn't have a chance.

She gave up and stomped away. She left the table for me to drag back to the bedroom.

I was taking photos of the new bookcase. Zar was still putting his weight against it, when suddenly Spike appeared behind him. Balthazar was a bit lax the last time he zapped Tessie. He forgot that Spike has a memory too. Tessie communicates with Spike. Therefore she knows what he knows.....Spike is such a blabber mouth!

Zar also forgot to work on the windows, believing that Tessie would never think to try those. Sometimes Zar is not too smart. He's intelligent. He's just not street smart and that's what you need when dealing with the likes of Tessie.....

I am not even going to dignify the last picture with a caption, other than to say, catch the smug look on Spike's face.
