A Witchy Wednesday......

I had the mini meeting here today. We only had enough for Act I, Scene I of Macbeth. The three of us ate Pizza, fruit and Brownies with Mocha Madness ice cream on top. Oh and yes , we did miniatures also. Anne is working on the needlework for a casket that she started at Chasteen. It is amazing and hard to see with the naked eye. Ginnie was working on a pitcher ala Marlie and I played on the computer.(cross stitch pattern making) Great fun was had by all.

This is the pattern I was working on. I am going to mess with it some more and then use it as a wall hanging at the back of the stone box.

You are probably wondering where Tessie was throughout the meeting. Discretion being the better part of valor, I decided to leave her captive in the box. We went through the whole meeting without a peep from her. Soundproof glass is a good thing.

Spike got bored, but she wouldn't let him out.

After everyone left, she figured out that no one could hear her. That's when she went into Tessie mode. She zapped herself over to the table, box and all!

Balthzar wandered in and commented on the wonderful peace and quiet. Then he noticed the sign. Yup! She saved it from the last time that she was in a silent snit. This time we really couldn't hear her.

Then she took a different tact. It looks like she is going to win this one. She promised that, in exchange for her freedom, I could have two of her favorite gargoyles on pillars for the stone box. Do I want quiet or do I want fancy stone gargoyles to decorate the box???

Hard choice....Quiet is good.....Gargoyles are better in this case.

I just know I am going to be sorry for this...."Tessie, you can come out if you leave the gargoyles behind."

I am now unlatching the front of the box. Then I am going to see if I can set the land speed record to get away from her.

See you tomorrow

Everyday my neighbors, an espresso cafe named "The Purple Cow", throw away pucey, purple egg cartons, the 18 egg size. Tessie should zap some her way.

Sounds like a fun day!

How do you make cross stitch patterns on the computer?? Do you have a special program or something??

Kathi, I have a program called PC Stitch Pro. If you go to pcstitch.com you can download a trial version to play with. It won't let you print your results, but you can use it to see if you like it. Go for it! It's fun!

Karin, Don't tell Tessie! She will want all of the rocks torn off that I just put on the box yesterday. No re-rocking!LOL

Can't wait to see what the tapestry looks like when you actually stitch it. :-)

Do you think Tessie has learned a lesson or are you still in for several headaches in teh near future?

Poor Tessie locked up during a mini meeting! Oh, the cruelty of it all! haha. So lucky to have mini friends. Mine look at me as if I'm daft. Thank heavens I have a 10-year-old to use as an excuse!
