A Happy Six Months....

I received a comment from Jessie at *~beyondbaffled~* http://beyondbaffled.b.ogspot.com/ this morning. It was on the entry dated 1/10/2009. She has the patience of a saint and must be Tessie's biggest fan. She went back to the very start of the blog in February of 2008 and has been reading all of the entries, a few at a time and says that she is taking notes as she goes!

I had been thinking of going back and seeing where Tessie first took over. That was the day. Tomorrow she will have been on the blog for six months! From the very first day she appeared she started running things. She is still in charge, as she sees it.

Last week we ordered a new cat tree from, get ready for this....."The Cat Tree Store" online. We couldn't find one in town that we, or the cats, liked. We brought one home and they totally ignored it. Thus the online order. Anyway, it arrived on Saturday and Walter proceeded to put it together. Before it was half way done, Mookie was perched on the finished section. He was practically shouting "HURRY UP!". Both cats definitely like this one better than the one that we dragged home from the pet store and took back.

I imagine that, by now, you are wondering why I am talking about cat trees....Here's why. Tessie has been fussing about the fact that I sidetracked into making pitchers for the last couple of days. "It's a waste of time. They aren't relevant to the finishing of the Clockwork Cottage." I was informed that that house must be finished ASAP so that I could start on the very important Spiderwort Mansion. I was not moving fast enough.
Both Tessie and Zar are upset with me over the sidetrack this time. Zar wants his cottage too. As a form of protest, they have both taken up residence in the little cat bungalow in the center of the cat tree. They are not letting the cats in until I finish their digs. They think that they have me over a barrel. They aren't aware that the cats are both still using the rest of the tree. Mookie and Widget don't really care about that part anyway. So I am letting them both sit and stew in the woolly little house while it is 100° outside. Let's see who melts first!

Meanwhile, I am back in the workroom with the fan blowing full force. This is what it looked like when I first peeked behind the door this morning.......I am making progress. I hope. I swear that the room's contents are alive and multiplying every time I close the door.

As long as Tessie and Zar stay in the woolly room I can keep working. I hope they don't wise up to quickly. I need to get more done. Back to work now.

See you tomorrow.

Oh Tessie and Zar are funny but the state of your workroom even more :). Sorry Casey but it is really hilarious although cleaning up, I am sure is no laughing matter! But why did it get here in the 1st place? Why didn't you...*nag nag nag.

I think Ara has the right idea. Let them stay there until the cats hustle them out or until they figure out their protests will fall on deaf ears.

Lol, I don't know if I have that much patience or not Casey, but I do know a good guide/teacher (I'm not sure which to call you) when I see one so yes, I do take many notes from your blog. Sometimes I get behind on following, but it's always fun to catch up on my reading here.

And of course I'm a fan of Tessie as well!
