Sorry that this is so late. I had the Wednesday Witches mini meeting here today. We had a great time making Marlie's pitchers, eating and talking.
I had most of twelve of the pitchers done when they got here and four of us made more. I think that Marlie started something with that pattern. Just think. People all over the world are making those little cuties!
I consider the ones that I made yesterday and today good practice. I did them with paper and paint that I had on hand. The gloss varnish that I used has to be at least 10 years old. I think that I bought it at a garage sale!
All things considered, I think that I at least have the hang of it now. Everybody left about 4:00 PM. After they left, Tessie immediately bustled in. She inspected the lot and her only comment was.... "Only one has any puce. Where's the puce?" She reminds me of that lady Clara that used to do the hamburger commercials back in the eighties...."Where's the beef?"
Here's a close up of three of the better ones. I still need lots of practice and some different paper. I discovered one thing interesting. The paper that was the least cooperative was real wallpaper. It doesn't want to stick like the other paper.
Of the three that you see here, the center one is mini wallpaper and the two outer ones are glossy pages(about card stock weight) from the back of wallpaper sample books.
I have to quit for the day. It is threatening to come down in buckets outside. Thunder and dark skies are all around. I am going to have to get off of the computer. Besides, Tessie wants me to find purple wallpaper for her pitcher. I didn't say I was going to make her one. She just assumes.
See you tomorrow.

These jugs are really pretty and appears addictive.
Too bad you can use the paper from your blog...she'd like that.
Great pitchers, Casey! I have to thumb through some of my papers this week. If I find any with puce/purple coloring I will set them aside for you. :-)

I love your pitchers Casey! you make really amazing works!
