Here she is, trying to circumvent the door. Her reasoning is that this hole is neither a door or a window, so a barrier wouldn't cover it......Wrong.
We pull back and you can see that Balthazar is fully dressed and running the place now. I used the fabric that he had wrapped around himself yesterday for protection for the shirt. I had some real men's suiting that I used for the pants and the vest and boots are made of black leather from an old glove.
I fear that he may try to use the big tools around his feet to finish the house himself. So far he has not. Fingers crossed.
Tessie made a mistake. She neglected to witch out the table with all of the food and Buster yesterday when she left the premises. I think that Zar's plan is to hold it all for ransom until she brings Spike back. I was mean. I told Zar that he was supposed to have a dog, but Tessie dog napped him. Did I mention that he still has the cappuccino machine too. That should get Tessie to do something.
Anyway, the title? Yes, it looks like there is going to be a problem. The triangle is Tessie, Zar and this little lady. There is no room for a live in housekeeper, so I figured that he at least would need a maid of all work. He certainly isn't the type to scrub floors and wash windows, let alone do the dishes.
She is not quite of this world yet. She still needs a lot of work, but I made the mistake of painting her face. Balthazar likes the face. I mean he really likes the face. I covered her up for modesty's sake. I think that I will make her a prim and proper, straight laced English type just to get on his nerves. Hey! I get to have some fun too.
I guess I should go work on the maid and give her a name. Zar keeps calling her "Hey you!". That just isn't going to work.
See you tomorrow.

Well done Zar on keeping that little witch out! I hope you can find new charms to cast, as Tessie works out how to break the old ones.
Now I can really see trouble... I think dog napping is going to be a minor offense for Tessie once she finds out about Zar's new maid...!!! Casey - you might need to build a miniature jail for Tessie to go in for murder!!!
PS. What is that electric tool at Zar's feet? It looks very useful!
Hmm... Maybe if you gave the basket maker a face lift Tessie will chase after him instead?
Or make a nice wizard...
Good luck!
Love the new maid and Zar. Looks like Tessie will be ever so jealous.
Sasha, that's Black and Decker's cheapest battery operated screw driver. It runs on a 4 AA cells. I got it at Walmart a couple of years ago. I have a big rechargeable drill, also B and D, that I never use. I purchased a little kit of screwdriver heads and drill bits. They fit both. I love the battery one.I think it was under 20.oo. Very handy.
Well, I'm on Tessie's side. After all she was the first one to arrive and she has some priviliges as a firstborn. I suppose that a pretty, lacey maid will make her loose her temper. Zar had become a very handsome young man.
Tessie, have you tried tunneling your way in? All you'll need is a shovel and flashlight.
