Today I received Debbie's birthday gift! The mail man came to the door for a signature. He apologised for the package being open. It looked like someone had opened it deliberately, but the bubble wrap around the Reutter's box was still intact. This is what I found inside!
I didn't tell Debbie before, but when I was growing up there was a German war bride, married to an X air force guy living across the street from us. She gave my mom and dad a full sized tea pot, creamer and sugar bowl that was gold plated very much like this one. I don't know what happened to the real one, but now I have a replacement in miniature! Thanks so much Debbie!!! It is a gift with extra meaning for me.
Happy Birthday once again, Debbie!

wonderful gift! enjoy it and do not let it go in wrong hands (= Tessie's). It will make a great table. Mini hugs
Hi Casey, so glad they finally arrived intact. But sounds like the other stuff has gone missing that was in there as well..And it was sent international signed for..
Debbie, had I known that there was supposed to be something else in there I might not have signed for it or at least questioned the open package. I feel so bad that things went missing, especially for you. I didn't know that there was other stuff. I was just thankful that the Reutters arrived intact. Thank you again for the lovely china.
Beautiful gift!!!
The tea set is gorgeous! Get Tessie to put on hex on the thieving so-and-so who opened the package.
I found the curtain instructions. Your search works well. Now I have to find the cork tile I use. No ceiling tiles, unfortunately. I'm waiting to see if hairspary dissolves the fabric I want to use
