Adding Personality......

I didn't get a lot done today, this being Wednesday. By now you know that Wednesday is for witches. Before I left for the mini meeting I got on the computer and started looking for reading posters for the bookshop.

I went to MSN, typed in "reading posters", and poked "Images". I love that feature of both MSN and Google. I'm sure that other searches have that particular feature, but MSN is the one that I am used to so it is where I go first. That is the best feature when it comes to mini paintings and posters on a particular subject. It took me straight to all of the posters I could ever ask for to encourage people to read.

This is what I came up with. First I needed something for the serious reader. Classical style. I opted for "Young Girl Reading".

Next something a bit lighter for the person that doesn't know that there is anything but cartoons and TV. Wallace and Gromit are always good. In case you can't read the title, it's "Electronics for Dogs". What do you mean"Dogs can't read."? Gromit can! Maybe this get the electronics oriented to read. Maybe.....

After that I had to have something for the children's section. Since "Where the Wild Things Are" is a family favorite, this poster had to be front and center! My daughter wore out the library's copy of that particular book. I think that she had possession of it more than the library did when she was little. She had that one memorized. We read it over and over.

Last but not least, something for the reader that is the owner of the store........She reads other things besides books. You can have a private palm reading in the attic if you are brave enough to venture up there....

They all need to be framed.

I think that what you put on the walls and personal things that you scatter around a scene are what tell the story. I am just getting to the fun part now.

Between that and finishing the outside I am almost there......Kind of.......Sort of........Well I am working on it.

Tomorrow it's back to the shingling......Bah Humbug!

See you then.
