Not Pretty...

But it has to be done... I got the inside gesso-ed.  I still have the outside to do.

I had very little gesso left and had to go to Michael's to get more.  Walmart doesn't carry it anymore.

Anyway, going to Michael's is a time waster...

I had to look around, since I haven't been for about six months.

That put me behind somewhat.
I didn't show you yesterday.  I have another half shelf or so cleared out... I am doing pretty good.  Someday it will all be perfect... Maybe... Perhaps?

OK.  I prevaricate a lot...
While I was working my fingers to the bone putting on gesso, I glanced over my shoulder... I should never acknowledge Tessie's presence.

She has a number of antique books scattered on the bed and is marking pages again... She now has the brilliant idea that I can reproduce "antiques" for her to sell... I told her that I would only do it if she sells them as "reproductions"... I have a feeling that this is going to be one of those projects that I will be sorry that I started.  I can see it growing at an astounding rate!

I am going back now to cover myself in more gesso.

See you tomorrow.

So what is your idea of a perfect workshop? How would you go about making your current space into one?

Hi Casey. If you or Tessie figure out how to change "reproductions" into "antiques", please let me know.

Karin, my perfect workshop would be about three times the size of the present one and it would have a butler and a maid of all work to serve me lunch and keep things where they belong... I don't ask for much.

Phyllisa, you will have to ask Tessie about that. She is in charge of "making things real".
