And I still didn't clean the workroom...
Walter played golf this morning and I just started cleaning out bookcases.
I decided to show you the calendar that Walter got me for Christmas by month. This is the one for January. Daisy's Cottage.
One page for each month, when I don't have much to say... I am getting back to being more talkative, but I had a follow up Dr. appointment today, so not much mini-ing. Still doing great!
I did get some more done on the rug. Part of one corner got filled with gray...
Slow and steady wins the race...
Zar and Tessie are going from place to place and looking for things to get me going...
This morning they decided that I didn't clean the floor on the basket shop like I was supposed to...
Like "I" was supposed to???
Tessie has started rooting around under the bed, looking for her next house. I think I am in trouble. She asked this morning, "How hard would it be to combine a Harrison, a Magnolia and a Vineyard Cottage into one big place for me to live? I could spread out more..." And then without batting an eye, she continued. " I could take over Zar's Clockwork Cottage. He's not using it. And Cordelia never goes home. That would add a few rooms...".
At that point, I ran into the bedroom and started pulling kits from under the bed... How best to get rid of them fast? A large fire in the back yard comes to mind. No.. The neighbors would complain. Somebody help!!! She is now in the workroom digging through the plant shelf where I have a bunch of wooden, antique grocery boxes... Cracker box was supposed to be a kitchen at one time...
While she was flinging boxes down from above.... I quietly backed out of the room and locked the door... I have a feeling that I am going to be doing a lot of cleaning in there tomorrow. Not stuff that I have messed up. First thing I am going to look for is that little dungeon room that I made from a perfume gift box, several years ago... Or maybe I will reinstate the use of the glass display box from whence she came. I still have the dresser, chair and sewing box that she lived with back then... Maybe if she lives in there for a couple of weeks, she will calm down and decide she likes the homes that she already has... Forest Fantasy Cottage has hardly been used at all...
I am going now to put a chair under the door handle of the workroom... Then I am going to make plans of my own... First, a nice long nap... Then I will make a list of things that I want to do.
Somebody throw me a pillow. Nap time.
See you tomorrow.

Enjoy, naps are great medicine :)
Hello Casey,
I hate to say it, but do you really think, if Tessie has decided she needs a bigger home, that there is any chance at all you won't be combining kits soon. Good luck with that one!
Big hug

Take it easy and relax as much as you can, whether Tessie likes it or not. You need to heal before you tackle the next project.
