Not Until Wednesday...

Walter told me yesterday that I probably wouldn't be getting the lead tape until Wednesday... So... I had to find something else to do until then.

When I got home from a doctor's appointment about ten, I dug into my boxes to find unfinished items that I could work on until I get the lead...

This is part of the reason that I was washing leather.  I need more backing for cabochons.

These are all ones that I backed a few years ago. I made the cabochons from magazine pages covered with cast resin in make up tins.  Then I got as far as gluing them to the backing.

 There are a few of the finished and in progress pendants in this group... There are also several unfinished ones... More work to do.  Just what I need!

At least I have the different types of cabochons separated.  This bunch is mostly stones that I purchased at the gem and mineral shows over the years. 

Again one finished, a couple started and a lot not even mounted on backing...

I probably should have  let sleeping stones lie...

Oh well.  Now that they are out of the workroom, the least I can do is straighten the boxes... Maybe finish a couple before Wednesday... OR....

I could start something completely new.  I have washed leather!

Back to work.
