Tessie Has Left the Room!

I started cleaning in the workroom again this morning.  Then I reasoned with myself.  I said, "Self.  Sunday is the day of rest.".

Then I proceeded to drag a bunch of unsuccessful beadwork into the bedroom.  Now the bedroom is a bigger mess than the workroom!
I Took this piece apart and re strung it on chain, instead of the leather... I am still not happy with it.  There just isn't enough curve in the piece of coral to make a good bracelet... It may have to be something else altogether...
In all, I messed with five different pieces and I can't say that I am happy with any of them.  Maybe, I am just not in a jewelry mood.

Maybe I just need to give up on these pieces and start on something new...

I don't think I am going to have to worry about it today though...
I went to the kitchen to get some cranberry juice and when I came back, Tessie had things under control.

I asked, "Tessie! Where are you going with my jewelry?".

She just kept trudging along, pulling all of the pieces behind her.

I tried again.  She stopped and looked up at me. Then she asked, "Do you really like these?"

I had to answer with a resounding, "No!"

She then threw them over the edge of the bench that she was on and looked me straight in the eye.  She countered with, "Consider your problem solved.".

She jumped down from the bench.  Picked up the five pieces of jewelry and dragged them to the waste basket...  She climbed up on a chair and with a bit of a struggle, threw them in.

That is why I keep her around.  She is the voice of reason... She looked up at me and said, "Now get over the fact that none of those were worth the time you spent on them! Get back to work and either finish the Forest Fantasy Cottage or MAKE ME SOME NEW JEWELRY!!!".

I am now going to go look for very tiny beads.... "Thank you, Tessie!"

See you tomorrow.
