Here We Go Again...

 The first thing that you do is scribble all over the back of your drawing...

Then you put that against a piece of wood. Twice.

For the front you trace over all of the lines.  For the back, just the outer edges.

Then, if you are crazy like me, you put a new blade in your exacto knife and get to work.

If you can find the extra blades for your jig saw or your jeweler's saw, then you use that.

I have been using the same blades for both for more than a year.  I can't find the extra blades... I have a feeling that, being very thin and small, they went into the garbage somewhere along the line.

Actually, for years, when I first started, I cut all of my wood with the exacto.  I seem to get more accurate cuts with it. 

The shelves haven't been cut to size yet.  I still need to decide where I want them.

The illustration board was cut in 1" wide strips and then rolled on my thigh.  I know that sounds strange, but it works.  If you put the piece of  illustration board on your thigh and roll it with a rolling pin or even with a glue bottle, it will curve without breaking the fibers.  Nice smooth curve... I doubt that it would work with wood.

That is all I am going to do on this project today.  I have other things to do. Tomorrow, I will get back to this.
