It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood...

Much too nice to stay indoors...

I moved again.  I decided that the tree by the back porch had a lot more daily shade than the spot where I put the reading nook.  That part of the yard is full sun most of the day.

This area has nicer morning shade, as you can see.
While I was out there,  I did another Tudor garden.  I bought the plants last week and decided that I had better transplant them before they died a horrible death!

This is the pot that I had the banana leg tomato planted in.... A few days ago, I assume it was squirrels, someone had a wonderful lunch or midnight snack... or breakfast.  I am not sure when it happened, but the tomatoes and all of the leaves were stripped.  All that was left was some very healthy stems.  Whomever it was, even ate the suckers between the stalk and the stems!  Nothing left to regrow!

I decided that since I had a quarter of the rug drawn, I might as well finish it.  That way, if anybody wanted to do it, It could just be printed out and used.

I am thinking of starting it... OK...I don't need another rug. I just want to do it, because I can.  I worked hard outside.  Now I want to vegetate until Walter gets home from golf...

I may completely change the colors.  After all, there are only five.

I'm a grownup and I can do what I want! I am taking a rule from Tessie's book!

See you tomorrow.

Your little garden fascinates me. I loved examining it. Cute little houses. Your rug is beautiful! Casey, how do I find you on Pinterest?

Lucille, the easiest way to find me is to go back to the July 4th entry. There is a link there. I can't seem to get the link in the sidebar.
