LOOK what I found! These two books cost me a total of $2.98!
The one on the left is older and kind of thin, but the one on the right is new. Both have a lot of photos and information on old household tools and some furniture. both have some measurements of the things pictured. Now I want go back to making some primitive American miniatures.
About the ham... He came up and plopped down next to the books as if to say he wanted in the photo. So I took it.
Then I took this one and cut him out. Don't tell Kota that he didn't make the cut.
The box at the top is a brand new unfinished wood tray that I plan to make into another beading tray. It will work for making the Chen Luu bracelets. Another Goodwill purchase.
I don't think that I will be doing any minis this morning. I have just about determined that the other car part is going to have to be the base, in order for the telescope to balance. I will put a larger base under the bottom and I am thinking that wire wrapping, like I do for some of my jewelry will work for fastening them together...
April and Amare will be arriving shortly... Kota will hide under the bed. Amare will have to wait a bit for him to make friends.
I don't think, according to his profile, that there were any children around in Kota's other life.
The morning should be interesting.
See you tomorrow.

Hello Casey,
I hope the meeting between children and new pets went well. Great find at the store and I look forward to seeing the finished telescope.
Big hug,
Giac
