That's how I felt yesterday...
The telescope went from the left piece to the right one.
It took all day! I started as soon as I finished the blog and only stopped for eating, drinking and bathroom breaks...
Winging it isn't always the best idea. I had no idea where I was going with this thing.
The body of the piece is very heavy! In fact, I may have to weight the stand with sand or rocks inside.
I tried this piece for the rest of the telescope, but after I finished it, I decided it was too long...
It's just a good thing that there were six whistles in the package that I got at Dollar Tree. Plenty to experiment with...
So far, I am liking it. Now if I can just make it stand upright, without falling over.
I think that the end piece will be OK if I cut it down a couple of sections. Or maybe if I look through the junk pile, I will find something else.
Anyway. I am quite far from being done... I have until Thursday. I am getting worried.
The Terrible Two don't seem to be perturbed by the deadline... But then they don't claim any responsibility.
I am going back to tearing my hair out by the fistfuls now...
See you tomorrow...Just look for the bald lady with a manic look on her face and a finished telescope in her hand...

It looks great :-)
Hi Casey. Well, it looks like a telescope to me! At least you don't have to get it to actually work.
I will be interested to see how you set it up.

If that were shown to me with no explanation, I'd say,"That's a telescope, right?" So it must look convincingly like a telescope!
Hello Casey,
It just keeps getting better. Great work.
Big hug,
Giac
