Zar Wants To Be First in Line...

We won't talk about the workroom today... It didn't get done.

I did get some more of the bead boxes sorted.  Not enough though.

I went in the bedroom this morning after I finished reorganizing my refrigerator.  Zar and Tessie were discussing what project I should be working on, now that the holidays are finished...

Since I have two barrels for telescopes, they seem to think that they should each have an observatory... Not going to happen.
I spent yesterday afternoon looking at images on MSN.  I did a search for backyard observatories, backyard observatory interiors, and then Zar suggested that I look at Steampunk observatories and Steampunk telescopes...

He seems to assume that the observatory will be his... It will.  Therefore, it must be Steampunkian.  There was a discussion about it fitting on the roof of the Steampunk emporium when it is finished.  It may be a bit crowded. There will also be a landing sight for airships there...

If it is going to be Steampunk style, I think that it will have to match the Tower Music Room.  Light limestone rock.

The tricky part is still going to be the dome... First of all,  I have to find my jeweler's saw.  I think that may be the best thing to cut the window out with.

I already have it marked.  Now to find the saw...

That could take a while.  I have a feeling that this is going to be one of those projects that I think about a lot whilst finishing other projects.  Be prepared.  Here I go again...

See you tomorrow.

That is going to be one amazing build. I'll get out my comfy chair, some popcorn and a notebook - astounding feats of mini-engineering are afoot!
