Laughing Buddha Has Left the Building...

It didn't take much to get him to leave.  I drew lines where I wanted the cuts.  Then I took my Exacto knife and went to work.  A few minutes later, there was only a hole where the Buddha had been.  The wood is only about 1/16" thick.

Zar would like to make you believe that he did all of the cutting... Not true.  True to form, he sat back and watched, while I did it.

Tessie has been yammering about the Buddha being put into a Yoga center for her... Sure.  Like she would do yoga... I guess I should remind her that yoga is a form of exercise.  She is allergic to that kind of stuff... Maybe if I suggest a meditation room.  No... Maybe she will just forget about it... Wishful thinking on my part.
I have the distinct feeling that this project is going to grow... I tried putting a small extension on the back.  I thought maybe with some book shelves and a chair and table for Zar to relax and read...

Now he is talking "library".  Maybe within a garden setting...

I have the horrible feeling that this is going to turn into a monster...
Unfortunately, he is right.  The little four by six extension that I put on the back will not even hold a chair, let alone bookshelves.  And now he is talking refrigerator or wine cooler to hold refreshments and a wet bar...  Stargazing is a rigorous activity.

Maybe I should just enlarge the property that he has the Tudor Trailer on...

I asked... He said no.  now he is talking about adding it to the unfinished Clockwork Cottage... And the possibility of finishing the cottage, plus a garden, besides!

It's all Walter's fault.

See you tomorrow.

You did a nice, neat cut! Looking forward to seeing what develops from this lovely container!

Oh dear, I have visions of Zar asking for the box to become the foyer of a very large building...... Quick, throw some gears at him so he can go and play somewhere else while you get on with it!
