This is all you get to see of the jewelry that I made as gifts...
People are watching...
While I was making jewelry, I found this. It is Red Heart Brand "Sizzle" thread. I bought it to experiment with for jewelry. Not great. Kind of slippery.
So I decided to see what would happen in mini.
First I tried just a chain stitch. I thought that would be fun for garlands on a Christmas tree...
Then I decided to add beads... Interesting. I tried them far apart first and then went for closer and closer together until I simply did a loop of beads. The thread has possibilities for this.
Then I thought, why not a rag rug? I guess it would work if you were doing a clown's bedroom and needed a floor mat...
They did have another variegated or two and lots of solid colors. It would probably work. I think that I needed a smaller needle. I was using a 6. If I try again, I would use a 7 or smaller.
Anyway, I saved you some time and money if you don't like how it looks. Or maybe I spent some of your money if you do like it.
I am going back to the serious stuff now... 4 days until the big day.
Yes. The party is still going strong. I think it's Alfred Hitchcock today...
See you tomorrow.

Where did you find that thread? Was it in the needlework dept.? I really like the one you picked.
Kimberly, it was right next to all of the crochet thread at our Walmart. I think it was 2.97 a spool.
Thanks, I will have to check that out next time I'm in there.
