Tessie Hanged Herself!!!

OK...Let me rephrase that... Tessie solved the problem of where to put the hanging chair..

She stole one of my lengths of chain and hooked it into the chair and then threw the loop over the switch of the magnifying lamp.

Why?  Well... It was the most direct line of sight to the TV.  She hasn't moved a muscle since she found the sweet spot, as she calls it...
I started playing around with some other designs for basket chairs... One thing leads to another.

Please pardon my sloppy drawing.  These were done in a matter of minutes.  I have to put it down on paper or I will forget it.  Even with that, I left one of the spirals out on the left side bottom...

This first one has an open back, covered with scroll work.  Padded inside and more cocoon like on the whole.
Lene suggested having trays on the sides, so that they could hold a drink or snack.... I drew it, but I am not sure that I will make it.  It seems to me that, if Daisy is anything like Tessie, that would be asking for trouble.  Lots of spills and lots of cleaning up.

I know that I wouldn't let Tessie have it!  There would be bug beer and chips all over the place!

I do like the design, but I hesitate to make it, because Tessie would at least want to test it to see if it works... Oops!
I have started another one.  The bottoms are pretty much the same design as the bottom of a basket.  I will have to stain the center to match the cord.

Anyway, there you have it.  I am on my way to getting into more trouble.  One way or another.

See you tomorrow.

Eep! I thought for a second that the story had taken a very dark turn.

Love the basket chair. That's gorgeous, and Tessie is definitely a problem-solver about how to hang it.

LOVE all the designs! Oh, to be a millionaire who can take one of your drawings to a fancy furniture maker and order one for every room.
