No Time for Minis...

First of all, the babies have been in the tub for over a month now.  As you can see, they are definitely growing.  Second leaves are coming in.  I am going to have to transplant soon.

I have hundreds of these babies in a couple of planters on the back porch.  If they all live, I am going to be overrun with mother of millions...
Now.  The reason for no mini time is....Books.

I decided I was tired of hunting for a half hour at a time and not finding the book I needed.

One bookcase down and a lot more to go...

I put all of my various needlework books in the bookcase in the bedroom.  There is still a bit of room left, but not too much.  Believe it or not, I am getting rid of quite a few books that I no longer use... I can't seem to find any holes from where they were located...Strange...
I pulled a few books out at a time and relocated them as I did it, but I still have a lot to go.

I think its time to get the luggage carrier or the handcart out.  I am getting a LOT of exercise from lugging books from one room to another.

All of my real furniture and architectural books are going in the family room.

For some strange reason, as soon as I turn my back, the space that I took the last armload of books from magically fills up before I can get more books to put in their place...
I am actually going to put the miniature, history of fashion books  and other craft books in the workroom.

It was sooo clean a week ago.  It's not bad, but it is going to look messy until I finish this job.

Therefore, I must get back to it and be done with it!

I am trying to make room on each shelf for a room box or vignette of some kind, as I go.  I had some that were stuck in side wise and couldn't be seen.

I am getting  there, but no minis today, unless you count the baby plants, at least until I finish.

Back to work.

See you tomorrow.

I love that each day you share a bit of you labors with us. You have a knack for making everything look fresh and entertaining and fun, which is rare and oh, so welcome when life is dreary, nothing but drudgery ahead, day in and day out.

Thank you, Casey, you are truly a ray of sunshine, every day--no matter the weather wherever your readers may be.

Bless you! I did chuckle when you wrote that every time you turned your back there more in its place! I love your RL furniture! such great shapes and beautiful wooden tones. Well done on sorting out all your books. I have to tackle mine some day but I keep managing to out it off!!
Good luck with it all, don't forget to relax a little this weekend...

Hello Casey,
You put so much hard work into your real life work areas and bookcases...you will be so organized! I hope you're enjoying all this wonderful tidiness (and hope the terrible 2 don't mess anything up) ;)
big hug,

I sorted my books recently and had to thin them out a bit but it was great to remind myself of the books I did have. I wish I had a lot more room for books. I'm not sure you can ever have enough.
