Through the Bathroom Door....

I always do a foam core mock up if I am going to add a wall...

I needed a wall between the bath and the bedroom in Daisy's Cottage.

Cut and trim.  Cut and trim.

Then I use my T square to draw guide lines for the doorway.
Then when I take photos, I see little flaws.

The top right curve is lower than the left.  Oops!

I didn't notice until the last photo, where I had already cut it.

That photo was taken at an angle, so it looks worse than it is.

It will be a simple matter to shave a bit of the top curve on the right side to match the left.

If you are doing this and have never done it before, it is a good idea to fold a piece of paper down the middle and then draw and cut on one side.  It will turn out perfect...What can I say?  I should have done that, but I didn't.... So now I have to shave it. Oh well.  I still have to cut it out of wood. So I have a fail safe...

Spike is the only loyal follower that I have left...

The Terrible Two are locked in the workroom.

I lured them in there with cookies.  They fall for it every time.  Sometimes that is the only way to get anything done around here.

I will wait until they run out of cookies and start banging on the door.  Then I will go let them out.

I gave them seven Double Stuff Oreos each.  That should give  me time, until we get back from the movies.

We are going to see "Neighbors".  The early show, so they should be fine... If not I will have even more to clean up in the workroom.  Wish me luck!

See you tomorrow.

Such a good idea to do a mock up. Thanks for the tip. Will I ever use it, LOL! I don't know. Maybe! That sounds like an interesting movie. I had to look it up! Haven't been to the movies in quite a few years. Still trying to get over that darn virus. It seems to have adopted me!
