Guess where I am?
Yup. The dreaded workroom... I don't know why I call it that. I can't work in here....
This is the top of the desk. Oh yes...I see a 1"square clean spot to the left of the thread spool...
At least the other side of the room is not too bad.
I am not even going to show you the jewelry supplies... Those are just plain scary!
At least I can't claim the box of crayons on top of the pile. Those are Amare's and have been sitting there since a week ago yesterday.
Anyway, I am taking my punishment for completing the Bloomie's box today...
I do have the work table cleaned off, but I can't work there. The Terrible two plus one have taken that over. The three of them are making plans for a new project.
Tessie's list starts with Spiderwort Manor...Still.
She let Zar have the pen when she was finished and he added Clockwork Cottage to the bottom of her list.
Last but not least, Spike insisted on a separate list. Just one item. Spike's Dog House.
I think that Spike may just be in the lead...Very simple build and very fast...
Unfortunately, right after I took the photo, Tessie grabbed his list and went away to hide it somewhere. When she returned, I asked where she put Spike's list....She looked at me out of the corner of her eye and said..."List? What list? I didn't see any list..." Then she zapped herself out of the room altogether. I suspect that I will find her in Zar's new digs. That is if I can find my way out of this mess to go look for her... Can someone tell me where the door is? I know it's in here somewhere.
See you tomorrow.

Thanks for making feeling like I am a normal crafter...ahhh the mess I have! LOL
Looks normal to me!
Thanks for the confirmation that this is normal. I always knew, deep down, that this was the "normal" way to do things.... Just needed a quick reality check......
Absolutely normal! You have to have the creative messes so you can clean periodically to get new inspiration. But, I do believe a dog house is in order! How can we help-I vote Spike next...
Why is it Casey that it is always so easy to revert to chaos, after so much effort is expended to get it all tidied up, time after time after time? WHY????
elizabeth
Elizabeth, there are no easy answers for that one...at least not from me...
I know about the mess! lol How can one work minis in a clean and tidy room? naaaaa cant do it, as for the desk hehehe I always seem to work in a 6inch square! lol terrible!
Oh Tessie your a scream! I love her!
the room box looks fantastic Casey! didn't take you long either!Im ashamed to tell you I have been working on that tudor more than 4 years! arrrgghhhh! Hang my head down! lol
Hehehe, like all the above, I think this is normal and I too regularly pull my hair and fall on my knees screaming "Why??!!??". Right now is such a moment and it is only 8.30 a.m......

Ahhhh Now I feel better, I am in good company... I have to tip toe in and out due to massive piles of creativity in my "craft room / garage"
that made me laugh Lisains I actually trip out of my craft room hahahahah!!!
Mine is worse than that, I can't even sit in the chair there's stuff there too :(
I hate to admit it, but the very first thing I do when I go in my workroom is clear the chair. Doesn't everybody? I thought that was the first rule of workrooms!
You guys are doing it wrong. The SOP for workrooms is....Have a LARGE ball of twine outside the door. Tie one end to the knob and the other end to your ankle. Then when you are ready to leave, hand over fist it to the door!
oh dear Im so glad you all have the same problem as I do! lol
I can't work at my work table at the moment either. It is covered in mountains of all sorts. That is my task for tonight so I can try to do some miniatures over the weekend. As for the piles on the floor I am getting used to walking around them! I think Spike does deserve his dog house. He is a very patient soul most of the time.
