I just don't know where I put it....Syndrome. With a capital "S"!
I am at least determined to correct it. Christmas is Tuesday. This is Thursday? That gives me five days....
See the mess on the bed(plus some more that I didn't show). I decided that, rather than have a few items here and a few more there, of the same category, I am going to consolidate...
This morning it began. I took all of the boxes and drawers of miscellaneous minis out and started sorting.
It was interesting and kind of fun in a way. I found some pieces that I hadn't seen for years, at the bottom of the boxes. I also found some things that I have been looking for and couldn't find....They were in boxes that were totally unrelated to their home base.
Anyway, I am very proud of the five boxes that you see here. It did take a few hours, but everything is in the right boxes and none are labeled miscellaneous minis. That, in itself is pretty amazing....
I still have a lot of receptacles to sort through, but at least I got a good start.
I did find one item that I have been looking for since I started working on the Tudor house again...These were all in a little 1 1/2" X 2" bag and weren't taking up even half of it.
I bought them last year at the mini show in October. I came home and carefully put them away....In with the one inch kitchen item. They immediately went and hid beneath some of the one inch items.
See those little bottles? They are 1/8" tall...The plates are just a hair over 1/8" across.
I think that they are all going to stay attached to their sprues until I get the rooms in the Tudor house ready to have them solidly glued down to tables.
I am still trying to figure out why they included what looks like a pile of potatoes, with no container to put them in. I assume that the box is for the soft drinks. Although it looks like there will be a lot of room left over.
Anyway, I am a happy camper. Mini Tessie now has something to eat with...Now all she needs is something to eat.
I will think about that later. I am going back to work now. Maybe I will find more things that I forgot about. I love surprises.
See you tomorrow.

Hello Casey,
Isn't finding things you haven't seen for a while fun! It's almost like a present! I for one think you know who hides things to make you crazy!
Big hug,
Giac
Dear Casey, you have so many things that even when you're very organized, it must be hard to keep track! I would enjoy getting locked up in your special mini room for one day!
