I couldn't really blame her. Some of you probably remember the mishap with "Buttercup Book Shop" when I finished it and put it up on top of the bookcase....That was in 2008!(See Butercup Bookshop in the label section if you want the whole story.)
I got about two steps up the ladder and dumped the whole thing on the floor....Yes, it was an accident. I didn't mean to.
I just didn't have the heart to start over right then. There was some broken furniture and a lot of books to put back, not to mention several windows with unhinged trim.
I kept dusting around it...Finally, four years later, I thought it was time to do what had to be done. And today I got up the nerve to take it down and do it.
Three of the tables had legs off.
The little shaker shelf on the top floor had some pieces broken off.
The food counter on the bottom floor was almost demolished. At least the pieces weren't broken, just coming apart.
I had all of the book shelves glued in place, but just lightly. They now will never come out.
As usual, I did all the work. Tessie and Zar sat and drank coffee, ate cake and of course read books.
It was a regular meeting of the Monday Morning Book Club...Very exclusive. Two members.
I worked from the top down. When I finished the last floor, Tessie immediately went into selling mode.
Since Zar was the only customer, she sold him a book on, what else? Dollhouse Building.
Anyway, I am about to attempt the second raising of the book shop. I do hope it turns out better than the last one.
As soon as I get it back up there, there is a three section bookcase that is seven foot tall to clean out. Wish me luck. I'm going to need it.
See you tomorrow.

You weren't trying to drop a house on a certain witch, were you? ;-)
Actually Elaine, Tessie was still living in the "glass cage" when I was doing the Buttercup Bookshop(2008). She got out of there in 2009. That's when the real trouble began, but I have never tried dropping a house on her....Dorothy already tried that on a witch and look at all the trouble she got into!LOL
lol! Wishing you luck! :)
menudo fastidio que se te caiga todo una vez colocado , pero veo que se te ha pasado el enfado inicial y ya lo has solucinado con muy buenos resultados
besitos

Hi Casey,
There's nothing more boring then cleaning, but also nothing more gratifying then seeing the rooms back in order. I'm glad the damage seems to have been limited to fixable things.
Good luck with the rest of it.
Big hug,
Giac
