Cool Cat and the Warm Witch....

We are all still bundled up and waiting for the gas to be turned on. Walter is threatening to do it himself....

I am spending most of my time undercover, and I don't mean detective work.

I ran out of the color that I was using for Tessie's sweater, so it turned into more of a heavy vest. She grabbed it and put it on, with teeth chattering.

As you know, she thinks that cats are only good for one thing....Warmth.

Widget is not impressed with her when she tries cuddling up to him.....If looks could kill....

She waited for Widget to lie down and tried again.

She claims that he was whispering sweet nothings in her ear. I kind of have my doubts.

She wrapped another of my newly finished scarves around herself and settled in....I think that if I were her, I would be more careful.

I have the feeling that Widget was taking measure her head to see if it was bite sized....I couldn't watch.

I did warn her before I left. I do hope she listened.

When I went back into the bedroom, there was Widget, wrapped in the scarf. Tessie was nowhere to be seen and he had a very dreamy and satisfied look on his face.....Just a hint of a smile.

I guess I should go look for Tessie....It is sooooo peaceful and quiet. I will let you know where she went. I am sure that she is OK....Of course she is.....

"Widget, where's Tessie? Come out, come out, wherever you are...."

See you tomorrow.

I'm certain Tessie could zap herself out of Widget's stomach if she needed to. You should probably check her regular hiding places... especially the ones out of his reach!

Oh my! You don't think Widget ate Tessie, do you???!
Your scarf is so beautiful. I love to wear scarves. Lately I've been needing one every day!
Tessie's tiny sweater is so cute! Love the ruffled edges. Someday I hope to be able to do this.
Tell Walter to turn the gas on! Enough is enough!!

Love that new knit ruffled item. Tell Tessie the short sleeves are so her cuffs don't get in the way when she's washing dishes. Does Tessie do dishes?

Casey, that little vest you made is adorable! I'm relearning to knit and I can appreciate the work in that little vest. Of course, you're a pro. I'm practicing on dish cloths before going into knitting minis. I've been at it for about three weeks now.

Lucille, that particular piece is crocheted. I don't think that it fits very well. As I said before, I just started fooling around and that's what came out.

I hope your gas starts working soon, not nice feeling cold all the time. Love Casey's new vest, perfect colours for Casey's complexion and hair colour. I just added a photo of our cat Slippers to my most recent blog to show you the resemblance to your Widget if you have a chance to see her. *Jean

If Widget ate Tessie, she should come up with the next hairball, lol.

That's Tessies own fold, she should have known better (as a little witch)that cats are more than just 'warm keepers'
Nice sweater you've made for her! :)
Hope you have the gas back on real soon!!

Warm hugs, Jollie

I meant Tessie's new vest and hair colour in my previous post, getting older and forgetful or I just don't think, LOL. *Jean

Jean, It's ok. I knew who you meant. I would look like a clown in that sweater and clowns scare me!LOL
