I can copy them, but blogger absolutely won't let me paste. Debbie, sorry your suggestion didn't work. The last time this happened, someone told me exactly where to go and what button to push. I think it was somewhere in the "settings" area, but I just can't find it. I am hoping that someone that reads this will know what button to push. Please help! I am having to type them all by hand. I hope I get them right.

You and I worked on that a while back Casey. I believe it is under formatting, then make sure that the option that says: Show Link Fields, is labeled Yes. I'll keep looking but I think that's the option that allows you to add Urls to your post. I hope it works!

Carolyn, I just tried that and it isn't the one. The problem is, I can copy, but when I want to paste it into the blog body, the "Paste" doesn't work. It is in shadow. I know that there is a way to fix it, because someone pointed me in the right direction before when we changed to Vista. I wlll keep trying.Thanks anyway.

Alot of the answers say about updating the blog editor but personally, I prefer the old one but I dont know if it would help? Ive also heard, if you dont want to switch, pasting into the edit HTML bit works. Dont know if this is any use, but worth a try. I know alot of people are having this problem!
First in the body of your posting type in the word you want to designate for the link. It can be any word or words such as "click here" or "photos of witches", whatever you want. Next highlight those words.
Next go to the top menu of the screen and click on the icon "Link". That pops up a dialog box into which you can paste the url.
I like to change the text color for my link words to something contrasting such as turquoise and also use italics and bold to designate that it is not normal text and something special will happen if you click on it.
How I do this is first I write all the stuff in my post, then I go back and add any links or photos after the text is completed. That way I don't have to change fonts or text colors back and forth. It is easy to insert photos next to the text that relate to etc. You can even turn a photo into a link.
