Could This Be a Subtle Hint?

When I started moving around this morning to start working on the rug for the gazebo, I found that the gazebo was missing! I know I am forgetful sometimes, but I distinctly remember putting the gazebo between the basket maker's cottage and Tessie's place a couple of days ago. It was right after I finished it.It wasn't too hard to locate. I almost tripped over it going into the workroom.

I keep the Magnolia kit behind that door. There was the gazebo, Tessie and Spike right next to it. I started to question Tessie.......She explained. "I just wanted to see what the gazebo would look like next to my new house." I said, as calmly as possible...."It's not your new house!"

She replied "Well, not yet. It still has to be built. Oh! I think it needs a basement. Is that possible?" Then she continued daydreaming aloud. "It could sit on a hill and the basement could be inside the hill and the gazebo could be at the foot of the hill and maybe there could be a lily pond for my frogs, eels and my babel fish. There has to be a Weeping Willow and because of the name of the house, some Spiderwort growing here and there. It's good for spells, you know. I also want a rock garden. I am very good at growing rocks!" On and on she went. I tuned out.

I went back and finished the rug for the gazebo. This is what it looked like when I finished. Not too lumpy or out of square. I steamed it once and this is what it looked like. Much better.

I did just a bit more steaming. Then I did the white glue around the edges and cut the excess canvas off. This is as close as I could get to the true colors.

I started back towards the gazebo to put it in place and call the project done. Then I had a brainstorm. I informed Tessie that if she ever wanted me to get to the Magnolia, she had to zap the gazebo back where it belongs. Notice, I did not say that I was going to make it for her. I am as good at loopholes as she is! Well, sometimes I am.

She immediately zapped it back to the spot where it belongs. I put the rug in place and took some photos.

For the time being I am ahead in the game. It probably won't last for long. Oh well......I can dream, can't I?

See you tomorrow.

Casey I know you don't want Tessie to have the new house. But you have to admit she's got some brilliant ideas for Spiderwort Manor.
The Rug looks wonderful, I hope Tessie appreciated it.. x

The Willow would be a challenge but something to think about.. I have willows all around my home..
Just think about all those tiny leaves.. lol..
I won't give Tessie any ideas on that...

The rug looks great, Casey!

I will say I'm on your side in this. We can't let the little witches in our lives order us about. ;-)

I'll back you with Tessie if you back me with Ezzie. *grin*

I love the rug and I love Tessie's dream house. It sounds beautiful! Can't she help you a little more so you will have more time. Also you need to get Zar working - both of them are becoming a little lazy lately.

Kat, personally, I think that you are smart, not finishing Ezzie. Surely by now you are rethinking having a witch around after all of the trouble that I have with Tessie! LOL

Oh yeah, there's an award for you and Tessie on my blog. I think Tessie will really like this one. ;-)

I don't know Casey... perhaps she can whip up a spell to help Castor get over his stomach issues.

Besides, Ezzie's cat needs someone to make sure he's fed. I've had him for a while now and he's getting a bit disgusted. ;-)
