Short and Sweet......

Yes. That could be a description of me, but not really. The short part, yes. The sweet part is only if you catch me on a good day.........It's a description of the entry today. As you already know, I had the mini witches here today so I was busy all morning getting ready.

I did manage to get the table cleaned off so that they could work and eat. Hooray for me. Don't ask what I did with the table toppings from yesterday. They will probably be back tomorrow.

The only mini things that I accomplished were three drawings. I designed a front door and surrounds for the two fireplaces. While the other witches worked on various projects I sketched.

This is the door. It will probably be carved of walnut or cherry. The center panels will probably have vertical lines in them to make them look like lumber. This is just the layout. There will be more detail in the finished door.

The top sketch of this pair is the surround for the living room fireplace. I will probably leave it in natural wood also. I had thoughts of painting it to look like stone or marble. Decisions, decisions.

The bottom one is the bedroom fireplace. This one will be wood for sure.

That's about it for today. I have to go hunt up some wood.

See you tomorrow.
