May I Please Be Excused Now......?

I think that I am just going back to bed, pull the covers up over my head and stay there. I finished Carolyn's chair this morning. I packed it up. Then I couldn't find the post office. There is supposed to be a substation in one of the office parks close by. I had the address. I went over there and I couldn't see any signs and I couldn't even find the number. It was like something out of the Twilight Zone. Sooooo.......I went about 10 miles to the one that I normally go to in town.

I did get the package mailed. However, I forgot to take photos before I did it. Rats! Carolyn has promised to take photos when she finishes putting it in a setting that she has planned. You will get to see it eventually.

Next I wanted to work on the fancy chair, but I couldn't find my tray of rub on metallic finishes. I just had them a few days ago. Nowhere to be seen now. I suspect that they are in the pile that you will see later.

I got out the bed and decided that I should put it in the house to see how it fits. Rats again! There is only one wall that it will fit on in the bedroom of the Clockwork Cottage. It fits. Just. If I put it in there, there will be little room for anything else. The slanted ceiling is going to make it look squashed. I may have to go back to square one on that one.

Did I mention that I am having the Mini Witches meeting here tomorrow? Yup. I will want to seat them at the family room table to work and eat. Would you want to sit here? Mind you, I was planning to put all of this stuff from the cottage in the workroom. Why don't I just do it, you ask?Welllllll, I went in to see where I could put the pile. I am all out of room for piles!

Yesterday, in a rash moment, I pulled a bunch of stuff out of one of the bookcases to sort and replace. That is where I stopped for the day.

This is what is left on the floor. I have to put it all back so that I will have a place to put the punched out piles of stuff that are on the family room table. It's a vicious circle!!!!!

I am now going to start the day all over again. I accomplished getting the package mailed.........You were waiting for a list of accomplishments? Nope. That's it. I mailed a package.

Now. May I please be excused? I am either going to go clean up that pile and put another pile in it's place or maybe I will just sit down and have a brownie. No, I didn't make those today. They are an accomplishment from yesterday...... Yes, a nice brownie with lots of chocolate frosting. That's the ticket!

Meanwhile, does anybody have a nice "Condemned" sign I could borrow for a couple of days?
