I have a cold. My husband brought it home to me all wrapped up in a pretty ribbon....Well not really. I have been fighting it all week and today it is winning.
I did get the bookcase on the second floor filled. I still have some blank books to use in various other places left over. Essentially I am done with books!!!!! Can you tell that I'm happy about that? it's kind of strange for someone that likes books as much as I do to say "I AM SICK OF BOOKS!". Anyway, now I can go on to other parts of the book shop. I still need to put a few piles under the bottom of the shelves. No self respecting bookshop has floors that are empty. There will be another table in front of here for sale items. Did I say I had enough books? I lied.
Oops! I also forgot the attic! I am going to need books for that. Did I tell you what is going to go up there? A secret witch runs the book shop. The two bottom stories are going to be pretty normal. The attic is going to have all of her spell books, hanging bunches of herbs and maybe a couple of potions in progress. There is very little room for anything else up there. Her pointy hat will just barely fit under the point of the ceiling. This isn't the hat that I am going to use, but it will give you some idea of how small the attic is.
I don't think that I should really subject you to the next photo.......I thought about showing you how bad my workroom is at the present time. People on the Greenleaf forum have been discussing keeping their workrooms clean. I joined in. My only comment was that I can't seem to find the floor. You think I am kidding? I was only brave enough to open the door part way and take a photo from the hall this time! Someone shove me in there and lock the door until I get it clean or I am never going to get any minis done. I can't find anything.
That pile that you see just inside the door is all of the stuff that I have been working with for the past month. I have a bad habit of sitting things down inside the door to put away later. I have good intentions. Honest, I do.
Before you shove me in there, please tie the mandatory cord to my ankle and attach the other end to the outside knob. I will yell if I get stuck and hopefully someone will come in and pull me back to safety.
I think that I will leave that task for now. I need to go sneeze some more. See you tomorrow.

The books and bookcase (the whole wall) look great! I'm really enjoying this project. Thanks for posting!
