Making a List.....Check!

There is no excuse for this! I started making a list the other night of unfinished projects. That was a BAD thing to do. I seem to like starting things. Don't get me wrong. Sooner or later they all get finished.

Yesterday I started dragging out the unfinished stuff. Guess what? It's worse than I thought.

Here are two small house kits, a greenhouse kit and a Houseworks room box. That doesn't sound too bad, but.......I already have one of the Buttercup cottages in this condition. I got as far as putting the shell together.

I woke up in the middle of the night last night thinking about it. You guessed it. Sidetracked once again! I am thinking that it would make a great tea and book shop. There is a shop over in San Diego that is like that. You can wander around the books and get a cuppa at the same time. It's really fun to go there. So now that is what I want to do with this Buttercup.

When I dragged it out of realized that it has no staircase. It MUST have a staircase. You can't just throw the books from one floor to the other. Hmmmmm.... That means designing and making a staircase. GRRRRR Silly people. How can they design a two story house without a means to get from one floor to the other?

OK. Then the six year old attention span goes to these.

This is a quilt/needlework shop that I did a while ago that was given to a friend. She is no longer into minis so I got it back. It was it really bad shape so I decided to redo it. Individual bricks got the best of my attention span. As you can see, it is on a high shelf. Maybe it should come first. Naahhhh... There are a stack of small display cases next to it that I got on sale for 2.00 a piece a few years ago. I have finished some of those and they are hanging various places in the house.
Then there is the Ballhagen store that I never did decide on what it was going to be. It's about twice the size of the quilt shop and it was going to be a quilt shop before I got the other one back.... Now the outside is pretty well done but I don't know what it wants to be inside. I got it at a mini garage sale for about a third of the real price.
These are miscellaneous boxes, a lamp and other things that I still have to finish.
The one on the left is another Houseworks box like the one in kit form in the first photo. The next one is a lamp that I made with a scene in it that needs reworking. Then there is a slanted roof vignette box and a plexi corner box. I am not going to bore you with the rest of the list. It goes on and on and on..........
I think I need to go get to work on something now. I will keep you posted as the pile diminishes. (Or grows.......)
