I made the bed from two blocks of wood and some beads strung on skewers as posts. I credit Judee Williamson with teaching me how to make the bolster pillow. She starts with a clean, unused Tampex tube, pads it and then covers! Hey! We miniaturists aren't proud. We will use anything that suits the purpose!
In the daytime the room is used by Prudence. She is a spinner of straw into gold. She is kind of old and sometimes gets a bit tangled but she still produces a LOT Of gold thread.
The baby dragon and the cat are hoping that she will drop milk and cookies for them.
The second floor is for fortune telling and transportation. Nobody knows the Gypsy's name. She just wandered in one day with her tarot cards and started predicting things. She was pretty good at it so they fed her and let her stay.
One of the flying carpets is always demonstrating. They sell more that way......The ones rolled up just get ignored. You will notice that besides the brooms and a couple of mops, they carry vacuums for the modern witch that wants to get there in a hurry. The only trouble is, the extension cord is never long enough!
The ground floor is the main store. They have everything that any witch could want.
Here you can clearly see some of the woodwork made from 80s blinds that I mentioned yesterday.
The "Cat Food" is escaping!
If they know what's good for them they will get back in the box. The cat is watching!!!
I probably should make Esmeralda dust things once in a while. The spider webs that you see are real. I actually had some tiny spiders move in for a while so I left them to knit webs and everyone was happy.
Esmeralda(you met her yesterday) says "Thank you for coming. If you aren't a witch, you need to leave now! The coven is meeting here at 7:13 P.M. and you wouldn't want to be around when they arrive!
