When I was in college, I found out about this company. That was many years ago....What do they do? They make predictions about what colors you are going to "like". I am offering their website because I think that it is interesting that we don't really pick out the colors that we like. For one thing, it is handy when you are trying to decide what colors go with what other colors for your latest dollhouse. Yes. They not only pick the colors that are going to be popular for clothing. They also advise paint companies among others.
Anyway, I thought you might like to have some fun with the people that tell you what you are going to like, color wise. It is fascinating.
Now about minis. I am cleaning out the workroom once again, so not much in the way of tutorials today.(You will be too busy with Pantone anyway.) I do have an alert for people that have Dollar Tree stores in their areas. I was in one a few days ago and found some really cool, raw wood, shadow boxes.
They are all the same shape, but with two different styles of dividers.and they already have hangers on the back.
Tessie has grabbed one of each style. She is thinking that they would make good "built in" bookcases. Maybe. We shall see. If not, they will be just fine hanging somewhere in the house with individual minis inside.
In answer to your question. Yes. They were $1.00 each!
No decision has been made about where to use them. I purchased four....I may have to go back and grab a couple more.
OK. I have stalled long enough. The workroom awaits. Tessie is back in there digging through drawers. She has started her usual pile to use for the townhouse. I need to go back and get things under control. With what we dig out, maybe we will get back to building tomorrow.
