The Cat's Out of the Bag....

Tessie and I are arguing over whether the stairs are going to be stone or wood.  This could take a while, unless I just put my foot down and just start doing the wood ones,

The stacks of foam core that you see are the forms for wooden stairs.

Tessie seems To think that it would just be easier for me to cover them with egg cartons and get it over with... The only problem with that is it would take me  a few days just to cover the inside of the tower and get it ready for the stone stairs.


I would much rather get it over with by doing faster wooden stairs.

In the second photo the line that you see in front of Tessie's feet is where the stair case will end. I do plan to put railings on the  edge of the stairs so that nobody falls off.

Now about the title... Letty has a big mouth. She told Tessie about my plan to trade places with her. 

Tessie is all for it. She immediately decided that the second floor will be an artist's studio and art gallery...

She already has the burglar going after some of my favorite paintings... And some of hers.  I don't know what she is paying him, but she has already let it slip that she has lined up the Mona Lisa by Leonardo... This is making me a bit nervous, but it is tempting.

She is getting closer to having me for a part time guest. It might be fun to wake up to the Mona Lisa every day.

Anyway, I am going back to the stairs.  Whatever they turn out to be, I want them done!!!

Easier to Bribe Her!!!

I had a bit of trouble finding Letty this morning.

I finally figured out that she went home to her own bed to sleep, along with Spike Jr..

I guess it made sense. She really only knows that as her home...

Then a while later I caught up with her trying to get her living quarters straight. 

No wonder she wanted to take the job when I offered. I can see why she doesn't like living there.

All she has to do is turn around and half of the furniture moves and falls.

I am thinking that I wouldn't want to live there either. I am going to have to do something new for her living quarters.

I did try changing places with her for a few minutes.  Not at all fun.  Quite uncomfortable for me... I felt squashed... I am sure that she felt just the opposite.

I am going to offer her the job of Super Spy!  I don't think that I a cut out for this shrinking stuff.

If I can get her to do it for me, I think that is the way to go. 

She spies. I build her a new house or trailer and we are both happy. The only thing is, I am going to get it in writing and in triplicate that she is working for me and not for Tessie!

That will all be worked out and she can start as soon as she signs the papers. Here's to the new system. I think that Tessie will tell her things that she would never tell me.  Wish me luck!!! I am going to need it.

Maybe Not Such a Good Idea......

I introduced Mini Me to the Witches today... That was pretty good. They passed her around and said "Hello" to her.

But then we had cake for dessert and she jumped on the plate and managed to eat a pretty good sized piece for a Mini Me! I am going to have to do something about that.  I don't want to gain weight when we exchange bodies. 

She was enjoying the cake just a little too much!

Then I caught her in the fridge, reading the labels on the soft drinks.  At least she approved of the diet Dr. Pepper. 

I guess that is a good thing... Maybe.

She managed to grab a little to eat off of each of the witch's plates... Not a good thing...

A little while ago, I went into the bedroom.  I found her sleeping it off in the bedroom on one of my carved beds. 

She was all snuggled up in the fabric that I am going to make her levis from.  At least she approves of that.

I just have to make sure that she doesn't make friends with Tessie! That could be a disaster.  The two of them and only one of me...

That will never work!

I am going back and making plans for that NOT to happen now.  See you tomorrow!

Not a lot done....

OK... Tessie will NOT be styling my hair!!!

I would probably come out with a butch haircut.

So far she has pulled out more than she has styled!!!!

I decided to use the black hair that I had when I met Walter. It turned into red after a while and I think that would be confusing. Two redheads standing nose to nose, yelling wouldn't be good.

I remembered that Zar did Tessie's hair a few times.  He will be my stylist of choice.

I feel that I should tell you that this is not really me... I am here typing and taking photos. And I will probably do my own hair the first time.

I have hired a double! Lettice, the lady from the embroiderers cottage was sitting there looking extremely bored last night.  She sits on the steps of the cottage 24 hours a day. Seven days a week. 365 days a year,

I had a talk with her and told her that she could switch bodies with me when I wanted to be little.  She would get new clothes and anything that she wanted to eat when she was big.  That seemed to seal the deal...

She has been sitting there so long that anything would be a welcome change She jumped at the chance... I did show her how to use the camera.  I think that she can handle taking a few photos when I am small. We shall see.

I am putting her in levis and my usual T shirt.

She is very excited about the new job.  We shall see how long it takes her to tire of it.

I am going now to dress her.

I probably won't get a lot done tomorrow.  The Wednesday Witches are coming here. I have a lot of cooking and cleaning to do... I wonder if Lettice would like to switch bodies early? Probably not...

Mini Me!

Tessie Saves the Day!!!

When I got up this morning, I heard a lot of heavy moving coming from the workroom.

It wasn't me... I assumed that it had to be Tessie, fooling around in there. 

I decided not to disturb her.  Sometimes it's better that way.

This time it certainly was!!!

When I finally got up the courage to open the door, There she was.  Up to her armpits in moving things around!

She had moved the dressing table from the bedroom into the closet. 

Granted, it's not as nice a room as the bedroom and she is going to have to do some more to the closet, but I told her that she is in charge of the two rooms. I am washing my hands of the whole thing. 

If she wants more done, she can do it herself. I am finished. No more running around in circles for me.

In fact, the next time I went back in, she had painted the ladder pink to match the carpet. 

I am going to have to go in there and turn the ladder right side up.  If I don't, she is going to fall on her head.

Anyway, I am no longer in charge of her bedroom and dressing room. 

Her changes makes it a lot easier for me.  I will use the dressing table with curtains somewhere else.  As soon as I decide where to use them, she will want them back...

I don't care. Just as long as all of the pieces get done. And as long as they fit together in whatever room she puts them in.  I am going back to work on MY dressing table now.  One of these days I am going to make a "Mini Me". Then I can go nose to nose to argue with her... Somehow, I think that I would win more arguments if I could look her in the eye.
