I walked into the workroom this morning to get a roll of blue masking tape... I needed it badly for putting a bed together...
This is what I encountered... Not one role of blue masking tape in site. And not in the usual places that it is kept... I found several rolls of the beige kind. I never have any luck with that.
While sifting through the things on the worktable, I managed to dump a beading box on the floor... Icky-ness happened...
I will be picking seed beads out of the rug for a week... Oh well. At least the rug is black. I can see them pretty easily.
Anyway, I decided to do some straightening so that I could find the things that I need...
I am starting at the top and working down today.
That way I will be able to work on the bed tomorrow.
Somehow, I am not in the mood to try to build a bed unless I can find everything that I need to do it.
So... I am cleaning. Starting now.
At least I have friends in high places. George and Kota are sitting by, quietly cheering me on.
George needs to be put back on his shelf. Halloween is over for another year.
Back to work.
See you tomorrow.
Don't forget to poke the photos to enlarge!

Not Yet!
I started some of the decorating for the Wednesday Witches Halloween Bash this morning... Big mistake.
All I am hearing from everybody is "Let's get this party started!!!"
I rounded up the gremlins and put them in a cage. They aren't "housebroken". In their case that means that they will break everything in the house if I don't contain them.
They will be wailing for the next few days until the real party gets under way.
Of course, the first one to any Halloween party is Spike... In his case, the phrase is "Where's the six pack of blood that I ordered?"
I put Buffy in charge of keeping him in line.
Good luck Buffy!
Of course the second one at the party is George. He only gets out of the workroom a few days a year... So of course, if anybody mentions a party, he is ready to go!
The only ones that are laid back are Tessie and Zar... That's because every day is a party for those two.
They are relaxing in the conservatory, just waiting for Wednesday...
I put some of the live plants in there. I want to see how they do until Wednesday. Up until now, they have all been on the window sill. Soaking up the sun. I want to see how they are going to act if I put them in the conservatory, where there is only indirect sunlight. Wish me luck. I am going to need it.
Between Gremlins trying to escape their cage, Spike and Buffy starting the party early, George, yelling for the party to start and me watching to see if the plants keep growing... I have my hands full.
Back to work.
See you tomorrow.
