I Keep Finding More Things To Do...

Tessie found more purses.  I was forced to take photos.  She thought that you might like to leave one open and hang a pair of gloves and scarf on the edge. The gloves are made of one thickness of glove leather, cut in the shape of gloves.  The scarf is some fine material that she found.  I suspect that it was one of my scarves...

I took a photo of two more almost ripe strawberries... They might make it to tomorrow... If I don't get hungry...

I am doing pretty good on the straightening.  I keep finding things that are almost finished... Tessie forces me to sit down and finish each thing.  I guess that is a good thing.  At least some of the things are getting finished.

I just finished the bracelet that she is holding.  As soon as I did she found the beaded one that is about 3/4 done. 

Oh well. At least I get a break from cleaning this way.

I am going to have to start compacting things as I go.  There is a lot of space, but I need to start moving things around to fill as I go.  There is probably a whole shelf that is empty if I move things around and fill up the holes...

Meanwhile, Tessie is following me around and hounding me.  If I sit down, even to write the blog, she thinks that I am slacking off.

She keeps yelling at me to hurry up and finish, so that I can get back to cleaning.

I'm A Bad Influence!

I am still tossing things and putting things away... Walter could only stand it for so long.

Now he is cleaning out his closet.

The Terrible Two are just sitting by and watching the two of us.  Snickering behind our backs.

I did find the oval memory wire that I purchased over a year ago.  And some memory wire for rings.  I am not sure how that is going to work, but I want to try it, now that I have located it.

My cardboard stash drawer is full to bursting! I am either going to have to find a larger drawer or stop collecting the cardboard from the cat food boxes. 

I think that the bigger drawer is the better answer...

I have emptied two baskets this afternoon. OK. So that's not a lot of stuff, but I had to go get a shot this morning. So, I have a good excuse for not having more to show.

We won't talk about the drawers behind the empty baskets... I think that I am going to have to go through all of those and get rid of some stuff in those too...

I don't really want to play this game. I want to play something fun.  Maybe, if I get some of those drawers cleaned out, I will reward myself with an hour or two of beading.... Just a thought.

Working as Fast as I Can!

OK. It's not my fault that I keep finding pieces of jewelry that just need a chain or a clasp.   The earrings needed hooks. well, on second thought maybe it is my fault...

I have all of my jewelry findings in a couple of the boxes that I cleaned out. 

Now I know where everything is, so I can simply open the box.  Get out the pliers and add whatever is needed. That's the way I like to work. So I am.

When I got to the findings boxes, I started seeing if there was anything that I had eight of.  If I do, I am going to put some of them in grab bags for the witches. 

They are coming here Wednesday.  They are all working on purses and some of these can be cut up to make clasps and other things for purses.

I already started filling up the first box that I emptied.

I emptied another one this morning.  I am moving right along!

The boxes on the left are mostly cleaned out.

The ones on the right are in the process right now...

I have decided that I like the feeling of a clean workroom. One that I can actually go work in.

So I am going to keep going for a while. I am not sure how long this cleaning spell will last, but I am going to try to go through everything and give away what is usable and toss what is not. 

This is actually a lot of fun! Care to join me?

Actually, I start this every year about this time... I just hope it lasts longer than usual!

Still Cleaning and Coughing

OK. I am proud of the fact that I have half an empty shelf in the bedroom...

No. I have no idea what I am going to display there, but I have it!

Kota was a great help.  This is what he did all morning... Every once in a while he would meow to be petted... Yup that's all he did.

I brought in a few knitting books from the garage.  I am determined to get the knitting stash whittled down this year.  It's silly to store it when I could be wearing a lot more different socks!

This is just the stash for hats, scarfs and that kind of thing...

Did I mention the sock stash?

Guess not...

Anyway, it looks like I have my work cut out for me.  Between minis and knitting, I shall be keeping busy!
