Lots and lots of leaves need to be creased before I sleep anyway... So it's not miles to go... Just LOTS of leaves.
This is what I have done so far.
I have been creasing for an hour or so.
I am also experimenting with flowers for the wisteria. Not quite satisfied yet.
I may just leave the larger flowers off. They really don't add anything to it. The rest is just Bunka over some tiny sprigs of store bought twigs.
Tessie has asked me to not include her in this activity... She claims that it makes her sneeze. She says that she is allergic to Wisteria... I do believe that she is just allergic to work.
She seems to do just fine until I hand her a tool. THEN she starts sneezing.
The tube by her feet is full of un-creased leaves. The tube to the left is full of creased ones.
Allergic? I highly doubt it.
I am going back to creasing now. I have miles to go, you know.
See you tomorrow.

Hi Casey. I love making mini plants. But they are fussy. I've not done wisteria so
would appreciate your tutorial. They would look good trailing on the side of my
unfinished cottage. It has a few issues. Perhaps if I made the outside look nice,
I might be motivated to work on the inside.

Phyllisa, do you have access to Rosemary plants or something similar? The branches on those remind me of the shape of Wisteria in mini. That's what I am going to use as a base. You could also use wire twisted together for the trunk. I want it to look like a very old wisteria plant with a twisted wooden trunk. Then I will fill it out with extra wire branches woven in.
I LOVE the look of your wisteria using the bunka! It looks fresh and alive! I would agree that the larger flowers are unnecessary but I am still REALLY IMPRESSED with how Marvelous your plant looks!
The leaves will be the cherry on top! :D
It looks great. All of your hard work will pay off!
Hi. Just a quick note to report that I have made some progress on my Craft Room.
It is slow work! I badly need more shelves on the wall. I will be checking your
storage boxes for ideas.

Hi Casey,
I love the bunka for the wysteria. it looks really realistic. I thought about using couscous dyed purple but might try and find bunka instead! And I will definitely look for rosemary twigs from my garden! Great tip! Thank you.

Hello Casey,
What a huge task, but I know it will look wonderful in the end. I must agree that the larger flowers take away from the realism of the wisteria...the Bunka is very convincing.
Big hug
