When I got up this morning, the Loco Weed was blooming up a storm. It's all the rain.
These are really beautiful, but as I understand it, a bit on the poisonous side...I got the seeds from Seth(son-in-law).
All of those long things sticking out will be blossoms tomorrow. They only last one day.
I was informed that the color of this planter is allllll wrong! It looks like I will be making other things to match Tessie's chair... big mistake. I didn't make it out of one of the usual colors... Special hand dyed yarn.
Now she insists that that is "her color". I am not to make anything for anybody else from that color...
I had two follow-up doctor's appointments today. Everything is fine.
I didn't get a lot of mini-ing done. I did get a bit more of the large boarder done on the conservatory rug.
That's about it. I had better get back at it and do something else.
Back to work. See you tomorrow.

I've never heard of Loco Weed before, but the blooms remind me a lot of Bind Weed aka white Morning Glory which we have way too much of in my neighborhood!
Hello Casey,
How beautiful those flowers are! I am happy all went well at the doctors. I really like that color yarn as well. I understand why Tessie would want it all.
big hug

Elizabeth, this is a bush, rather than a vine and th flowers are bigger across than my hand. I think that the real name is Jimson weed. It grows wild in the desert.
I've never seen loco weed before but I used to see it on the westerns that my grandpa used to watch... horses and cows used to eat it and go nuts but you cant really tell what it looks like when you watch black and white tv. now I know what to watch out for.
Hugs
Marisa
Marisa, I used to watch those too. I doubt that they ever used the real thing. At least I never saw anything that looked like it.
