The Workroom, Looking Better...

And I am feeling a bit better... but now Walter seems to have the bug... I tried to stay as far away as possible, but it didn't work...

I did get one side of the workroom cleaned up, but the other side still remains to be seen...
I got up on the kitchen step stool and went through the shelf with the Christmas minis on it...

It was decided, with a little bit of help from the Terrible Two plus One, that keeping this house as a Christmas house is silly...

I started thinking that way last year.  I ripped the interior window trim out and painted it white.  Now I think that we all agree it should be something else, that we can enjoy year round.  All we need to do is decide what it is to be.
Zar, Tessie and Spike grabbed all of the boxes with the Christmas Tree Party decorations and ran.  They are anxious to get the party started... Not happening this week.  They are just going to have to hold their collective breath until I am done with the cold.

I did get the micro mini Glitter House kits from Karin Corbin, yesterday afternoon... They are wonderful, but they are going to have to wait until I am finished sneezing at inopportune moments... Some of the pieces are so minute that I am going to have to have a magnifying glass and a strong light to see them... No sneezing allowed.  I will show it to you once I start working on it.  Thanks again, Karin!

This is what my work table in the bedroom looks like now.  I am going to try to keep it that way until after Christmas... Sure I am... Honest...

I still have to do something with the little storage bench next to it.  I am not sure what yet... There's always the blanket method...
Now... About Christmas... Here's hoping it won't be late this year.  We had a visit from Santa this morning.  He wants to borrow the time machine for a quicker delivery of gifts...

We had to explain to him that the time machine is not up and running quite yet...

He claims that Rudolph has a cold.  That's why his nose is all red... I'm not buying that one.  I think that he just wants to make fast work of the deliveries and get home to a hot toddy early.

At least Doctor Who believes that the time machine is not ready yet.  He was spying from the porch.  Now maybe we will have one less person trying to pilfer the machine until after Christmas...

Back to work.

See you tomorrow.

The time machine fits in the winter scene perfectly.
I am so inspired by your organized work room!

It feels good to stop what you are doing once in awhile and re-organize. I can't image keeping all your tiny things organized. BTW, I could really use that time machine ~ lol. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Amare thinks the white house needs a garbage truck to pick up the trash. He is very excited to hear that Santa visited this morning. Your room looks very nice.

Enjoyed reading the potpourri of this and that, Casey! Sounds like you've been pretty busy, cold or not! Hope you and Walter will soon be feeling better!

Hi Casey
I really hope you and Walter get better soon, there's nothing as annoying as the cold! I have to say, that I always enjoy your posts, they have a little bit of everything thrown in. You really should consider writing a book of all your exploits....Tales of the Workroom....Time Travel and Tessie.. LOL
All the best, and a Merry Christmas.
