And call it Christmas...
My cold continues...
Spike now has snow around his house. He is very happy with the trees...
The row at the top of the bookcase is snowed in. Tessie made sure that I left the doorways free, so that she could land up there without getting her feet wet...
Mini Walter is snowed in for the rest of December. No golf.
That's OK though. Big Walter will make up for it. I'm betting that he won't get snowed out for the rest of December here in Tucson...
And me? I am still having a wonderful time with the cold.
I entertained myself yesterday by going earring hunting. I am cleaning out junk jewelry boxes and even some regular ones.
I decided to hang up a couple of earring display racks that I found at thrift shops.
I think that if the earrings are in plain sight, I will be inspired to use some of the odd ones and ones that I don't wear, for mini projects.
I hung everything that I have found so far. How about those Bollywood style ones, with the turquoise beads, at the bottom of the first rack? They are about 4" long! I highly doubt that I will be wearing them any time soon, but they are fun to look at.
When April was about 13, she talked me into getting my ears pierced. For a while after that, there was no stopping me. I went crazy buying earrings. I think that I have almost every pair that I have owned over the years.
Then I added to that by making my own and finding odd ones in bags of junk jewelry in thrift shops.
I am still wondering who wore the single earring on the top right side of this rack... And I am wondering if she still has an ear left on that side. The thing is so heavy... Kind of like wearing a Quarter Pounder on your ear...and almost as big!
Anyway, I have both racks hung now and can look at them every day. Maybe I will get some ideas for using some of them in mini projects.
Hey! Humor me. I'm getting back to normal as quickly as I can... OK... I'm not quite there yet... But at least I am having fun.
See you tomorrow.

You're very brave, Casey! When I have a cold, nothing is fun! I misplaced my easy cutter last week and I looked for it endlessly, many times opening and closing the same containers over and over again. I even looked in the freezer, so desperate was I. So I capitulated and ordered one online. It's on its way to me now. Well, of course I found it today when I was not looking for it. I was hanging some clothes up in my closet and I saw a box and wondered what was in it. lol! About a thousand popsicle sticks and the famous easy cutter. Ahhhhhhhh!
Lucille, I am just doing busy work to keep from thinking about all of the hacking and coughing that is going on. I know how you feel about losing things. I lose the tiny remote for my Apple TV, on average, about five times a day! Most annoying!
