Yesterday, we went to the Witches' mini meeting at the home of Judy and Susan. They are sisters and enjoy working on mini projects together.
They went to an open house at a local mini store here in town. I didn't go because it was when I was having difficulty with my teeth...
They were each given a half inch scale house kit for being there. A couple of the other witches were there too. They got the idea that the WWs should work together on the houses together.
To make a long story short, I said that I would work on my 1/2" Greenleaf Fairfield. They handed me one of the kits that they got at the open house and said I should have one of the houses too...
I am not one to argue when someone hands me free minis... Maybe I would have been smart to refuse...
What they each received was a nice half inch scale house shell to put together...
The catch? There are absolutely no directions! No labels and no photos of the kit finished...
I think that the method to their madness was... Get Casey to put it together and see what happens...
I am a sucker for a challenge in mini... I am at least going to put the shell together...
If anybody recognizes this house, please advise!
The Terrible Two plus One got in on the act and were excited...Until...
Tessie noticed the spacing for the floors. She laid down on one of the side walls and started complaining...
"I can't live in a house this small! I can't even stand up in it!"
I kept my mouth shut. She does have a half scale altar ego. If I mention that, she will think the house is for her. Not happening...
I saw a glint in Spike's beady little eyes... It's not hard to read his mind... He is thinking doggy palace...That could be fun, but I don't think that is what Judy and Susan had in mind, when they gave it to me...We shall see.. I am waiting for the house to start talking to me.
Meanwhile I will be working on Daisy's Cottage if anybody needs me.
See you tomorrow.

Hi Casey. What a nice gift of a 1/2" house. I do see a "method to their madness" though! I have no doubt you will do a wonderful job of piecing it together, even without directions. And the others will follow your lead.I wish I was in on the fun! But following you every step of the way will have to suffice.

Good luck, Casey! If somebody can do this, you're the one!
