With a little bit of help from my friends...
Zar was a big help this morning. I masked off the edge of the platform and he painted it.
Masking makes it fast work. It would have been even faster if I hadn't glued down the landing platform to the roof... Oops!
When he finished, I put in supports for the railing around the edge. I used the same grommets that I used for the supports under the roof.
Tessie insisted on putting up a Do not enter! sign. She happened to get a glimpse of the Doctor running for cover yesterday and doesn't want the competition for the theft of the machine...
Meanwhile, it is such a nice day that I almost stayed outside after I sprayed the posts for the platform...
My back porch is starting to look like a jungle.. The mother of millions still has a lot of babies on it's leaves. I am going to have to harvest some more.
I volunteered to hostess the Halloween bash for the Wednesday Witches next Wednesday.
I noticed that George arrived early. He hangs around my workroom all year and this is the only time that he gets out...I don't blame him for being eager... I would be too, if someone put me in there on a shelf and closed the door for a year...
Anyway, I am off to see if the posts are dry yet... Here's hoping that I can drag myself back inside to install them...
See you tomorrow...

I am really loving this time machine. Your garden looks like an inspirational place to be. X
I would love a closer look at that room box next to George someday when you get a chance!
Cara, if you go to this URL, you can see the box and read the story about it. http://caseymini.blogspot.com/2008/04/taking-break.html
