Meanwhile, it seems that people are grabbing things that Joan gave me as soon as they see them...
Right now this hall tree with bears climbing on it is standing in front of Hubert's Haberdashery. Zar has put his brand on it. I don't know where he is going to put it, but his initials are on the bottom in big red letters!
At the same time, Tessie is unusually calm. She grabbed this vase of the tiniest beaded flowers that I have ever seen. They have to be at least size 18. Maybe even 20.
I am trying to figure out where they got a needle of wire small enough to fit through the holes.
Me? I am just trying to figure out what I am going to do with this??? It is a roll of stuff that is made of some kind of bark. Very rough and kind of brittle... Interesting stuff... Now all I have to do is find a use for it.
I am going to avoid Joan until the move is finished... She is stacking up piles of good things. Things that I really don't need. Very interesting. Nope. I am hiding until she finishes.
Back to the rug!
See you tomorrow.

That might make a pretty counter top coated in resin or varnish to keep it smooth. I really like the grain pattern, would be a shame to chop it up.
Hello Casey,
That bark-like material looks beautiful. I can't wait to see what becomes of it. Good move avoiding Joan...do you think you'll be able to do it? That is some mighty strong temptation! Hum...As much as I love Tessie I can't help but worry about you when she is being quiet...keep your wits about you ;)
Big hug
Giac
Holly, the texture is too pronounced for that. It wouldn't be smooth with many coats!
Giac, she is just being quiet because I keep plying her with gifts from Joan's stash. I'm sure that things will be back to normal soon.
