"I tell you it's ruined! She put glue all over the walls inside. It is terrible!" This was the first thing I heard after I started work this morning...
I knew it was coming, no matter where I started. If I did the inside first, Tessie would have had a fit about the outside.
It had to be done. I glued the walls to the outside of the tower.
I had to do that so that I could put the trim on the outside.
She was pointing out every flaw, glue spot and non existent error to Zar.
I do have to admit to taking some paint off of the outside with the painter's tape. I never had any cause to paint and then tape over egg cartons before. It didn't ruin anything, but there are going to be a few spots that have to be repainted. No big deal.
Anyway, I started doing the trim on the outside. I left one corner undone. I thought you might want to see the difference. And besides, I needed a break from the incessant hysteria.
I am now thinking that I will just do the leading on the transparencies, on both sides and install them.
The one that you see is the reverse of the tape on the inside of the transparency. It isn't installed, so I can still experiment.
Those will be attached to the back of the inside walls and lay flat against the Plexiglas when I am finished.
What you are seeing is a curved piece of the transparency printing plastic. It is stiff enough to hold shape, once it is framed.
I wonder if a couple of chocolate chip cookies will calm things down? It usually helps. Maybe that and a few episodes of Bewitched will do the trick. Tessie always seems better after she sees successful witchcraft on TV...
Let's see what happens..."Tessie! Want a cookie?"
See you tomorrow.

No Marisa. I stuff the cookie in her mouth. That keeps her quiet for a while.
What nice how to see your tower grows!
